Cruise lines have spent years removing single-use plastic items — straws, bottles, amenity miniatures — and reporting on the results. The cabin razor is often still moulded plastic. The Nomad by GSA is a single-use bamboo razor built to close that gap: no moulded plastic parts, bulk-supplied, and documented for vendor onboarding.

Every structural part is bamboo or steel. A renewable bamboo handle replaces the petrochemical one.

The plastic swaps that work at sea are drop-ins: same guest experience, different material. The Nomad applies the same logic to the razor — a true single-use disposable with a solid bamboo handle and a custom stainless-steel blade, replacing the plastic SKU one-for-one.
Guests don't change behaviour, housekeeping doesn't change process, and the sustainability team gets to strike another moulded-plastic item off the register.
Made for environmental scrutiny
Cruise environmental commitments get scrutiny from regulators, ports and passengers, so the products behind them need to hold up too. We describe the Nomad exactly: a handle machined from solid bamboo with a sealed finish, a trace adhesive bonding the head, a stainless-steel blade, and a kraft paper pouch with a plant-based liner.
That precision is the point. We don't claim "plastic-free", "compostable" or "antibacterial", so your team never has to defend those words either. What you get instead is a bill of materials, safety data sheets and third-party chemical screening your team can file.
Procurement-ready supply
We can supply cruise lines directly or through amenity distributors, and we'll work through your supplier onboarding and documentation requests. Line branding can be laser-etched into the handle, and the pouch printed with brand colours and regulatory text.
