Hotels · Resorts · Amenity Distributors
The plastic-free razor your amenity programme is already looking for.
Hotel groups have spent a decade stripping single-use plastic out of the guest bathroom — dispensers instead of miniatures, paper instead of film. The disposable razor is the last plastic item left on the vanity tray. The Nomad by GSA replaces it one-for-one: a zero-plastic bamboo disposable razor with a stainless-steel twin blade, supplied in bulk to amenity distributors, hotel chains and eco-resorts.
Plastic items eliminated
Accor reported eliminating 46 types of single-use plastics from the guest experience by the end of 2022 — the industry benchmark amenity programmes now follow.
Plastic content
A pressed-bamboo handle and stainless-steel blade held by mechanical tension. No plastic hinges, glues, lacquers or coatings anywhere.
Minimum order
Standard MOQ is 100,000 units — roughly a fifth of a 20ft container. Lower MOQs may be workable on request, with special pricing terms.
Built for amenity programmes, not gift shops
Most eco razors on the market are reusable safety razors — the wrong product for a hotel bathroom. Guests expect a disposable; housekeeping expects a single-use item they can replace daily. The Nomad is a true disposable that happens to be fully biodegradable, so it drops into your existing amenity SKU with no change to guest behaviour or housekeeping process.
The handle is high-density pressed bamboo with the weight and rigidity of industrial plastic, and the S304 stainless twin blade delivers a shave that matches premium synthetic disposables. It looks and feels like a five-star amenity — because visible, tactile sustainability is the point.
Compliance, ESG targets and the regulatory wave
The EU Single-Use Plastics Directive, nationwide bans in markets like India and Canada, and 127 countries with single-use plastic regulation have turned amenity plastic from a brand risk into a compliance problem. The UN projects more than 90 countries will have single-use plastic bans in force by 2027.
A plastic razor on the vanity undercuts every dispenser and paper straw in the building. Switching the razor closes the gap: the Nomad's handle composts at end of life, the blade oxidizes safely, and the standard kraft paper pouch is plastic-free and compostable — so your ESG reporting covers the whole bathroom, not most of it.
White label, co-brand, or carry the Nomad
Amenity distributors can carry the Nomad as a catalogue line or take it white-label. Hotel brands can have their wordmark laser-etched directly into the bamboo handle — a permanent, chemical-free process with no inks or coatings — and the kraft pouch custom-printed with brand colours using water-based inks on recycled or FSC-certified stock.
Bulk packing puts roughly 500,000 units in a 20ft container, keeping the landed cost per room-night competitive with the plastic razor you're replacing. Samples are available for programme evaluation — request them through the enquiry form.
